July 4th is one of those days we can hardly wait to see it coming.
All of Fairfield Plantation is humming with excitement as residents prepare for private parties along the lake. Resort guests are arriving, checking out their "new home" for the next days. It's a countdown to the fireworks happening at nightfall.
Live music is echoing across the lake from a live band playing at Dockside Marina. Boats are starting to fill the lake, as everyone is trying to get the best viewing spot.
